Taylor weaves in the chic, cultured feel of destinations without watering down the emotions and memories that fuel meaningful photographs. After all, Taylor is an artist who loves a meal from scratch just as much as she loves the idea of being so wistfully in love that you dance through the streets together. (Wearing your favorite night-on-the-town dress and your grandmother’s vintage necklace.)
With this, expect an experience committed to the underlying beauty of something as simple as an alfresco conversation — a photographer who takes note of the memories, connections, learnings and laughs. With nearly a decade of experience and a background in the service industry, Taylor has the know-how to work globally, but the care to make you feel like the only couple in the world. Florida + destinations.
Meet Taylor Schulz, an international photographer in Florida documenting weddings for celebrations worldwide. Weaving in history, beauty, and relationships.
More about the experience
I was at my dad’s house where the front door was purposefully left wide open to let the light stream in. My gaze settled on the collection of National Geographic magazines. I flipped through the pages of beautiful, mesmerizing locations and made one simple statement — I want to travel the world and take photos.
From there, I ripped out page after page of magazine, but specifically from high-fashion prints. I was mesmerized by the femininity and editorial vision. I’ve always loved beautiful things, but have consistently enjoyed the day-to-day act of observing people as they are. I can’t help but pay close attention to the connections between others. I use photography to show people a piece of themselves, layered with purpose. With a home in Chicago, a marriage of my own that began in Santa Barbara, and clients worldwide, I feel incredibly fulfilled — passing similar opportunities forward with a percentage of each booking being donated to the Epilepsy Foundation.
The tears shed when the maid of honor stood up to give her speech — she’d known the bride for a lifetime, and after three decades, she couldn’t say much through the tears, but that said it all.
The time the bride customized her grandmother’s wedding dress, but she wasn’t the first — her mother did the same, making it a tradition that was tailored for three generations!
The one couple that swayed arm in arm with their best friends on the dance floor while the live saxophonist and club-style DJ gave them the party of a lifetime.
When the groom serenaded the bride and she then joined in with a dreamy harmony to surprise their loved ones.

The world can be rich, but also harsh. With well-rounded relationships, you have the support to carry you through all stages of life. I love witnessing as others make it a point to listen, see and and fully understand each other — unafraid to get whisked away — playfully and deeply in love. Like dancing in ambient light, just holding each other until he brushes the hair out of your face and time almost stands still.
For me, that depth is demonstrated through monthly get-togethers with the girls hosted at mine, lunch breaks with a good run, podcasts with a captivating story and live music. Let’s not forget date nights with my husband and a dirty martini. We love a good night in too, cooking and dancing in the kitchen, realizing hours later that it’s midnight and we’re still deep in conversation.
Great style that gets noticed without causing a scene, and the brilliance of getting outside — a perfect day has both.
Noticing the stir of momentum, and the encouragement to pause — there is an energy, purpose, and lesson in each season of the year.
The people you meet and the perspectives they bring — a conversion with a complete stranger is something you might never forget.
